DIGSCM 4.0 (Digital Supply Chain Management 4.0 Erasmus+ project)
The fast development of digitally supported working practices has had a significant impact on the performance of all sectors of the supply chain in recent years, and this trend will continue in the future. Digitalisation has a growing potential to support Strategic and Operational Management of Supply Chain processes, which enables to analyze the performance of each member of Supply Chain and plan new investments. The role of HEI-s is to develop the digitalisation competencies in today's students and tomorrows company managers accordingly to the future needs of the business sector.

- C2 The organisation of the digital purchase process 3 ECTS (2nd year of study, including the transformative technologies subject and procurementflow software implementation skills)
- C3 Introduction to Public Procurement Planning and Procedure. 3 ECTS (2st year of study ) -> Replaced by E-Services course
- C4 Project. Purchasing and procurement organisation. 3 ECTS (3rd year of study, include procurement process Innovation and Digitalisation).
- C5 Project. Analysis of the procurement process. 3 ECTS (3rd year of study,
include the digital supply chain procurement process analysis).

It is also extremely important to provide the enterprise managers and key specialists with the innovative possibilities for on-line contact-free real-time management of their physical business facilities. To achieve this target, it is vital to improve the existing curricula formal, non-formal learning and in-service training processes of Supply Chain management towards digitalisation.
The redesigned curriculums improve the readiness of graduates to work in a new digitally supported operational environment of Supply Chain. The project vision is that the graduates will become the drivers of the digitalisation in the companies, which can be achieved by the teaching of stationary students (formal learning), updating the digitalisation knowledge of professionals already working in the companies (non-formal learning) by providing the curriculums for current degree programme students, but also in-service training to the business representatives who wants to update his /her knowledge. It is necessary to achieve compliance of learning outcomes of curricula of higher professional education with expectations of the labour market and students on the way to the Digital Supply Chain era. TTK, VMU and RTA have developed a mixed study environment for selected part of Supply Chain (including Purchase/ Procurement, Manufacturing/Operations Management and Logistics/Transportation topics). The prepared e-learning materials enhance the conventional classroom study process and support the fully online study. The environment enables flexible mobility both for instructors and students.
The DIGSCM 4.0 project started from the desk research of work processes in the areas of retail trade and procurement, logistics and manufacturing, which are directly related to the developed Digital Supply Chain Management 4.0 module. This research focus on the implications of digitalization, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and 4IR (Fourth Industrial Revolution) for the work processes (tasks), as well as implications of these changes to the competence needs and qualifications.
The implementation of the above-mentioned activities has to be carried out in the global work market internationally by member states. A national approach will not answer the needs and will not provide benchmarking of the new operating environment for the Supply Chain 4.0 sector of the EU. In order to cover the most important competencies of Supply Chain 4.0 the partners from the following countries are involved:
Estonian coordinator TTK University of Applied Science (TTK) has expertise in the digitalisation of purchase and procurement activities and the availability of Industry 4.0 and Logistics 4.0 labs.
Latvian partner REZEKNES TEHNOLOGIJU AKADEMIJA (RTA) has the know-how and practical experience in the manufacturing processes digitalisation.
Lithuanian partner Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) will bring in the expertise in work processes research, focused on digitalisation and knowhow of Logistics 4.0 environment.
